We care for animals, people, and the land with kindness.
We stay open to new ideas, experiences, and perspectives.
Every decision starts with understanding and compassion.
We grow every day through nature, people, and practice.
We believe that genuine connection begins when we slow down, remain open-minded, and take the time to understand the world around us.
“This farm is my happy place. It is where I feel most grounded, most present, and most connected to what truly matters.” – Mariana
Our family dairy farm is located on São Miguel Island, in the Azores. It was founded by my father in 1992, but our story stretches much further back.
We come from a long lineage of Azorean people who have worked with the land and with cattle for generations. Through Volcanic Beings, I hope to honor that heritage while creating new ways for people to connect with it.
Our experiences invite visitors to step into the reality of a working dairy farm. We do not aim to romanticize or sugarcoat agriculture. Instead, we offer an authentic glimpse into farm life, encouraging meaningful conversations about animals, food production, nature, and the delicate balance of the ecosystem that sustains us all.
