Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before booking an experience with Volcanic Beings.

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern access to this website, requests for bookings, confirmed bookings, participation in Volcanic Beings experiences, and the relationship between the client and the entity responsible for Volcanic Beings.
The description, price, date, time, language, and conditions presented at the time of booking form part of the conditions applicable to that specific experience.
The client should read these Terms before making a booking.
Acceptance of these Terms occurs when the client submits a booking, confirms a booking, makes a payment, or participates in an experience.
Submitting a booking request does not, by itself, guarantee confirmation.
The client must have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement, or must act through their legal representative.
Volcanic Beings offers rural experiences related to the farm, the natural surroundings, the animals, and the local way of life.
The details of each experience are those presented on the corresponding page or during the booking process.
Mandarina: duration of approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Bondade: duration of approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes.
Jéssica: duration of approximately 2 hours.
The meeting point and access instructions are provided on the experience page and/or in the booking confirmation.

To make a booking, the client chooses an experience; selects an available date and time; indicates the number of participants; chooses between a shared or private visit; selects Portuguese or English as the language of the experience; provides the required personal details, including the shoe size of each participant so that suitable protective footwear can be prepared; and accepts these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
A booking is considered confirmed when the customer receives the corresponding booking confirmation through the booking system.
A request that is still pending should not be considered a confirmed booking.
Bookings can only be made with a minimum of 12 hours notice before the start time of the experience.
It is not possible to book a time slot when less than 12 hours remain before its start.
Only the days and time slots shown as available in the calendar can be selected.
Volcanic Beings may block days or time slots when it is not available to carry out visits.
Time slots may become unavailable once the maximum capacity is reached.
Private time slots become unavailable to other clients once confirmed.
This minimum notice period is separate from, and should not be confused with, the cancellation policy described below.
A shared visit is subject to the availability shown, to a maximum capacity of 7 participants per time slot, and to the normal filling of places by different bookings.
Available places are reduced as bookings are made.
Once 7 participants have been reached, the time slot no longer accepts new bookings.

Shared visit prices per adult: Mandarina €20, Bondade €30, Jéssica €40.
Children between 3 and 12 years old: €10, on any of the three experiences.
Infants between 0 and 2 years old participate free of charge, but are counted towards the maximum capacity of 7 participants.
In a private visit, the time slot is reserved exclusively for the group that made the booking.
Once a private visit is confirmed, the time slot automatically becomes unavailable for other bookings.
The maximum capacity of 7 participants continues to apply, and infants are also counted towards this limit.
Private visits are sold per group, for up to 7 participants, at the following prices:
Mandarina: €140 per group
Bondade: €210 per group
Jéssica: €280 per group
Additional services, participants beyond the maximum, or special requests may only be accepted subject to prior confirmation.
The applicable prices are those shown before the booking is completed.
The total price is communicated before the booking is confirmed.
Prices are presented in euros and are treated as the final prices shown during the booking process.

For invoicing purposes, the customer must provide the requested billing/tax information during or after the booking process, where applicable.

The payment details and the total amount are presented before the booking is completed.
The payment methods available are shown to the customer during the booking process.
Online payment, where applicable, is processed through the payment providers integrated into the booking system.

The cancellation, rescheduling, and refund policy presented and accepted at the time of booking applies to that booking.
More than 72 hours before the start of the experience: full refund, or free rescheduling.
Between 24 and 72 hours before the start of the experience: the client is entitled to one free rescheduling, subject to availability.
Less than 24 hours before the start of the experience: no refund.
No-show / failure to attend: no refund.
This policy applies equally to shared and private visits.
Cancellation or rescheduling requests should be sent to volcanicbeings@gmail.com, indicating the booking details.
When applicable, refunds are processed through the original/applicable payment method. [[TO BE CONFIRMED: exact refund processing timeframe]]
Participants should arrive with sufficient time before the indicated location.
A no-show, i.e. failure to attend without prior cancellation, does not entitle the client to a refund.

Volcanic Beings may cancel, interrupt, reschedule, or adapt an experience for reasons related to weather conditions, safety, the health or welfare of the animals, unforeseen unavailability, site conditions, force majeure, or other circumstances that prevent the experience from being carried out safely.
When Volcanic Beings cancels an experience before it takes place, for reasons attributable to the operation, the client will be offered rescheduling or a refund of the amounts paid for that experience.
This does not include compensation for related costs such as transport, accommodation, flights, or other expenses incurred by the client.

The experiences are leisure services associated with a specific date or period of performance. In these circumstances, the general statutory withdrawal period may not apply, without prejudice to the consumer's mandatory legal rights and the cancellation policy communicated at the time of booking.

Infants aged 0 to 2 years old participate free of charge but are counted towards the maximum capacity of 7 participants.
Children aged 3 to 12 years old: €10, on any of the three experiences.
Children and infants may participate subject to the conditions of the selected experience and must remain under the responsibility of the accompanying adult at all times.
The rural environment may involve uneven terrain, contact with nature, proximity to animals, variable weather conditions, and possible accessibility limitations.
Visitors with reduced mobility, allergies, pregnancy, medical conditions, or other specific needs should contact Volcanic Beings at volcanicbeings@gmail.com before booking, so that the suitability of the experience can be assessed.
Volcanic Beings does not state that the experience is accessible without prior confirmation.
Participants must follow the instructions of the team, remain within authorised areas, treat the animals with respect, not feed animals without authorisation, not touch or approach the animals when this is not authorised, avoid running, shouting, or behaving in ways that may frighten the animals, wear suitable clothing and footwear, and inform the team of any relevant situation.
Volcanic Beings may interrupt the participation of anyone who places at risk the animals, other visitors, the team, the participant themselves, or the normal running of the experience.
Nothing in this clause excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
The following conduct is prohibited: mistreatment or provocation of animals; entering restricted areas; deliberate failure to follow instructions; dangerous behaviour; damage to the premises or equipment; participation under the effect of alcohol or substances that compromise safety; and serious disruption of the experience.
In serious situations, the participant may be asked to leave the experience, without prejudice to the applicable commercial policy and the participant's legal rights.
This is a rural experience, and visitors should wear suitable clothing and footwear.
Clothing appropriate to the weather conditions on the day is recommended, and participants should wear suitable footwear.
Volcanic Beings prepares protective footwear (such as rubber boots) when necessary, which is why the shoe size of each participant is requested during the booking process.

Visitors are responsible for their personal belongings during the experience.
Volcanic Beings recommends taking reasonable care of personal items throughout the visit, without prejudice to any liability that cannot be legally excluded.
Visitors may take images for personal use, unless indicated otherwise, provided this does not disturb the animals, other visitors, or the experience.
Professional equipment or commercial sessions may require prior authorisation.
Participation in an experience does not, by itself, imply consent for the use of a visitor's image.
Any promotional use of identifiable images captured by Volcanic Beings is subject to the applicable legal basis and, where required, the visitor's consent.
Volcanic Beings adopts reasonable measures to carry out its experiences safely.
Participants must follow the instructions given by the team.
The rural environment and interaction with animals may involve natural, foreseeable risks.
Volcanic Beings is not liable for consequences caused by failure to follow instructions, reckless behaviour, or false information provided by the participant.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be legally excluded.
Events beyond the reasonable control of Volcanic Beings may occur, including severe weather phenomena, natural disasters, transport disruptions, failures of essential services, decisions by public authorities, health-related situations, and events affecting safety, the premises, or the animals.
In these situations, a new date may be proposed, and the applicable legal or commercial refund conditions may apply. This does not include compensation for indirect costs or expenses, such as transport, accommodation, or flights.

Any dispute will be handled through the legally competent channels, including any applicable alternative dispute resolution mechanisms.
