BORN FROM THE
Volcanic Beings is an immersive experience rooted in volcanic soil and a way of life deeply connected to it. Time moves slowly here. Visitors are invited to reconnect with nature, the animals, and something more instinctive within themselves.

A serene walk through the pasture, in close contact with the animals, where you'll get to know the daily life of the farm and connect with nature's rhythm.

In addition to the pasture walk and contact with the animals, this visit includes the unique experience of feeding the calves and horse riding.

The most complete experience for true nature lovers: a walk through the pasture, feeding the calves, horse riding, and taking part in milking time.
Volcanic Beings was created by me, Mariana, as part of a long lineage of farmers native to this island.
The farm was founded by my father in 1992 and has grown over time, guided by care, continuity, and deep respect for the land. It is both his life's work and part of a wider family story that I now continue in my own way.
I believe animals are intelligent, intuitive beings, and that time spent in nature brings us back to ourselves.
Volcanic Beings was created to share a slower, more attentive way of living — one rooted in connection, presence, and care.

"Our visit to Mariana's farm was incredible. We learned a lot about the industry and how the farm is run. The animals are very well cared for and loved by the staff."
It was both a charming and captivating experience. It all began with a warm welcome from Mariana, who also gave us a tour and very kindly and thoroughly explained all the processes, from raising livestock to milk production.
What a wonderful farm experience! For such a reasonable price, the wonderful hosts told you everything you need to know about cows, farming and the Azores.
